Privacy Policy
In short: we keep your account details and the card collection you build so you can use LXP Cards on any device. We do not sell your information, show ads, or use tracking cookies. Your card collection is private to you; not even our admins can open it. You can ask us to delete everything at any time.
1. Who we are
LXP Cards is run by LXP Cards, LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company ("LXP Cards", "we", "us"). This policy covers the website and app at lxpcards.com and our other domains that forward to it. Questions: support@lxpcards.com.
2. What we collect

Your location. If you tap "Use my location" in Near Me, your browser asks your permission first. The location is used on your device to find nearby experiences; it is not sent to or stored on our servers.
Your device. The app keeps a working copy of your collection in your browser's storage so it opens quickly. When you sign out, that copy is removed from the device.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not show advertising or share your information for targeted advertising.
- We do not use analytics or tracking cookies. The only browser storage we use keeps you signed in and holds your app data and preferences.
4. Who can see your information
- You. Your card collection, notes and photos are visible only to you while signed in.
- Our admins. A small number of authorized people at LXP Cards can see member names, email addresses, card counts, sign-up and last sign-in dates, and messages you send us. They cannot open your card collection, notes or photos.
- People you choose. If you use a share, QR code or export feature, the recipient sees what you send.
- When the law requires it. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our members, the public or LXP Cards.
- If the business changes hands. If LXP Cards is merged or sold, your information may transfer to the new owner, who must keep honoring this policy.
5. Service providers we use
These companies process information for us, only to provide their service:

The app also links to outside sites such as Google, Wikipedia, YouTube, Yelp and Tripadvisor. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
6. Where your information is stored
Our providers store information on servers in the United States and possibly other countries. By using LXP Cards you understand your information may be processed outside the country where you live.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your account details and card collection within 30 days. Copies in our backups are overwritten within a further 90 days. We may keep messages you sent us longer if needed to resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation.
8. Your choices and rights
- Get a copy: use Backup / Restore in the app to download your collection at any time.
- Correct: edit your name and cards in the app, or ask us.
- Delete: email support@lxpcards.com from the address on your account and we will delete your account and its data.
- Emails: we send only account emails (confirmations, password resets and important notices). If we ever add newsletters, they will be opt-in.
Depending on where you live (including New Jersey, California and other US states, the UK and the European Union), you may have additional rights: to know what we hold, to correct or delete it, to receive it in a portable format, and to opt out of its sale, targeted advertising or profiling (which we do not do). To make a request, email us from your account address. We will answer within 45 days, and we will not treat you differently for using these rights. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our answer.
9. Children
LXP Cards is for people aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and database rules that let each member reach only their own collection. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password you do not use elsewhere. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make important changes, we will update the date above and tell members in the app or by email before the changes take effect.
